UNIFIL mediating ceasefire efforts
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUNIFIL is leading talks on both the Israeli and Lebanese sides in order to reach a ceasefire as soon as possible, NRG reports.
The UNIFIL commander issued a statement earlier calling on the sides to act responsibly and avoid escalation. A Spanish UNIFIL soldier was killed in the crossfire earlier today.
