The US State Department has given its non-emergency personnel and their families in Qatar permission to leave the country, the US embassy in Doha says, as Tehran launches a second day of strikes, in response to ongoing US-Israeli air attacks.

The department “authorized non-emergency US government employees and family members of government personnel to leave Qatar due to safety risks,” the US embassy says in an advisory on its website that also warns Americans to “reconsider travel to Qatar due to the threat of armed conflict.”
