Venezuelan VP defiantly declares that Maduro is the country’s ‘only president’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleNicolas Maduro is Venezuela’s “only president,” his Vice President Delcy Rodriguez says, demanding the United States release the strongman arrested in a military operation.
Speaking live from Caracas on television, Rodriguez demands “the immediate release of President Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores. The only president of Venezuela, President Nicolas Maduro.”
She is flanked by her brother, national assembly head Jorge Rodriguez, Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello and the foreign and defense ministers.
