Police suspect a 90-year-old woman was murdered by her caregiver.

In a Tuesday statement, police said they found the victim’s body in her home in Hadera.

They later brought the caregiver, a 30-year-old Moldovan national, in for questioning. At the end of the interrogation, they arrested her on suspicion of murder.

It was not immediately clear how the woman was killed as there were no signs of violence on her body, according to the Ynet news site.

The suspect will be brought before the Hadera Magistrate’s Court, where police will request that her remand be extended until the conclusion of legal proceedings against her.
