Woman arrested in connection with death of relative who fell from Tel Aviv building
Suspect held over death of 65-year-old in April; autopsy found no signs of foul play, but residents testified to relationship between the two women

Police said Tuesday that they had arrested a 61-year-old woman a day earlier on suspicion of involvement in the death of a relative who fell from a Tel Aviv building earlier this year.
The 65-year-old woman was found at the foot of a building on Pumbedita Street on April 26. Paramedics were unable to revive her and pronounced her dead at the scene.
The woman’s body underwent an autopsy and there was no suspicious evidence found.
However, according to Channel 12 news, police later received information that led them to reopen the investigation, and officers began to interview residents of the building about the nature of the relationship between the victim and her relative.
The unnamed relative appeared at Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, and her remand was extended until Sunday.
