Israeli child drowns in hotel pool in Turkey
Family vacation ends in tragedy as six-year-old boy dies after going swimming with sibling in seaside city of Kemer

A six-year-old Israeli boy drowned in a hotel pool while on vacation with his family in Turkey, the local press reported overnight Sunday-Monday.
The family arrived in the Turkish seaside city of Kemer several days ago, as summer vacation in Israel winds to an end and school children are set to start the school year next week.
According to the Turkish reports, the child and his older brother, 10, went swimming in the hotel pool on Sunday, when the younger brother started to drown. Hotel guests tried to save the boy, as did paramedics who arrived at the scene, but he was declared dead shortly after the incident.
The Israeli consulate in Ankara was said to be making arrangements to get the family and the body of the child back to Israel.
