A man was stabbed to death Thursday morning in a fight with a coworker at a meat packing plant in Emek Hefer’s industrial zone in central Israel.

The victim was named by police as Hussein Saida, 40, a resident of Reineh, an Israeli-Arab village located in the Galilee.

The police investigation revealed that during the fight the other employee pulled out a knife and stabbed Hussein repeatedly in his upper torso. Emergency crews from Magen David Adom tried to resuscitate him, but without success.

The suspect, who fled the scene, was found by police and arrested at his home in Sulam, near Afula.
