Four separate vehicles burst into flames in Beersheba early Sunday in what firefighters and police are investigating as an apparent arson spree.

The vehicles were reported on fire in two separate locations in the city’s Darom (“South”) neighborhood: three on Tana Shlomo Street, and the fourth on Kfar Darom Street.

The fires were put out by Beersheba District firefighting teams before dawn. No one was hurt in the incidents.

Police began a manhunt for a suspected arsonist.

It was not clear from early morning reports whether a specific individual is suspected in the arson. There were no immediate indications of any link between the four vehicles’ owners.
