Charges dropped against Arab ex-MK

The Tel Aviv District Court drops criminal charges against former MK Muhammad Barakeh, who was accused of punching an activist at a rally a decade ago.

The court decision explains that the judges’ ruling was reached, in part, because ten years have passed since the incident, and because Barakeh, formerly of Hadash, is no longer a Knesset member.
