Erdan responds to Biden: We have no interest in occupying Gaza
In an interview with CNN, Israel’s ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan responds to US President Joe Biden’s warning that occupying Gaza after destroying Hamas would be a “big mistake,” saying that Israel has “no interest” in ruling over 2 million Palestinians.
Erdan also thanks Biden for understanding Israel’s need to destroy the Gaza-based terror group.
“Thank you President Biden for recognizing what Israel has been saying since the barbaric Hamas massacre occurred: Israel’s goal is the total elimination of Hamas’ terror capabilities,” he tweets.
