Ethiopians protest at police HQ in Jerusalem
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on Google200 Ethiopian Israelis are demonstrating outside the police headquarters in Jerusalem against “violence and racism directed at Israelis of Ethiopian descent.”
The demonstration comes in the wake of several cases of police violence against Ethiopian Israelis in recent months.
Police Chief Commissioner Yohanan Danino said he would establish a special team to examine the community’s claims and formulate ways to deal with the problem, Ynet reports.
