In a vague statement responding to an AFP report that contact has been lost with Hezbollah’s presumed next leader Hashem Safieddine, the Lebanese terror group says there are “no Hezbollah sources and our viewpoint is issued in official statements.”

Despite Hezbollah’s pushback at the reporting, it doesn’t confirm or deny whether contact with Safieddine has been lost.
