IDF says air force carried out strikes against Hezbollah sites in Lebanon

The IDF says fighter jets carried out airstrikes against a series of Hezbollah sites in Lebanon in response to rocket fire on northern Israel this morning.
It says the sites include military compounds where Hezbollah members operated, and other infrastructure belonging to the terror group.
Some 20 rockets were fired from Lebanon at the Shomera area in northern Israel with additional rocket fire on other areas along the border.
The IDF has not immediately published information on potential casualties in the attacks.
The army says it shelled the launch sites with artillery. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the rocket fire on Shomera.
