Israel to revoke residency of 19 East Jerusalem terrorists

Interior Minister Silvan Shalom tells Israel Radio that the state will revoke the residency status of 19 East Jerusalem residents over their involvement in terror attacks.

The move means that the families of those 19 will lose all benefits granted to them due to that status, Israel Radio reports.

Shalom says Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked will soon present a proposal to deny benefits to the families of terrorists with Israeli ID cards who were killed while carrying out an attack; terrorists who are wounded while carrying out an attack will also be denied disability benefits. Israel will also confiscate the land upon which terrorists’ demolished homes were built.
