Arab media outlets have published footage showing Lebanese civilians leaving the Dahiyeh — Beirut’s southern suburb and a Hezbollah stronghold — following Israeli threats to carry out strikes in the area.

The footage shows heavy traffic jams on roads leading out of the neighborhood.

Earlier this morning, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz said in a joint statement that they had instructed the IDF to strike in Dahiyeh immediately in response to Hezbollah ceasefire violations.
