Lebanon’s civil defense agency says Nabatieh facility destroyed in IDF strike; all personnel had evacuated

Lebanon’s civil defense agency says its regional facility in the southern city of Nabatieh has been destroyed by an Israeli strike.

The Directorate General of Civil Defence says the building had collapsed and a large number of vehicles and equipment had been damaged by a “direct hit in a hostile Israeli strike.”

It adds there are no reports of casualties among its personnel, who had been moved to another location before the incident.

There is no comment from the Israel Defense Forces, which routinely issues evacuation orders ahead of strikes on Hezbollah in other to reduce harm to civilians.
