Litzman questioned on suspected aid to sex offenders
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleDeputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman, head of the United Torah Judaism political party, is questioned by police today at the headquarters of the Israel Police’s corruption investigation unit Lahav 433.
Litzman is suspected of illegally aiding a series of sex offenders linked to his Gerrer Hasidic sect to evade justice, including accused child sex abuser Malka Leifer.
He has denied wrongdoing in all cases.
