Miss Syria says Assad wouldn’t ‘hurt an ant’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleMiss Syria, Sarah Nakhleh, tells Egyptian TV channel that Syrian President Bashar Assad is not “a butcher.”
“No ophthalmologist in the world is capable of harming an ant,” she says.
“I support the Syrian regime. I support Dr. Bashar Al-Assad. Some people believe that he is a butcher or a murderer. Opinions on this are based on one’s background. As for me, I support him. At the end of the day, he is a doctor, and no doctor can possiblט be a butcher,” she says, according to a translation by MEMRI.
