Mother of Jaffa boy hurt in firebombing wants cops to nab ‘real suspects’

The mother of a 12-year-old Arab boy from Jaffa seriously injured in a firebombing says she hopes police track down “the real suspects,” after an Arab man was arrested yesterday for his suspected involvement in the attack.

“To say this is an Arab from Jaffa who thought this is the home of a Jew isn’t correct. You can tell it’s a Muslim home because the Ramadan lights were still hung up,” Muhammad’s mother, Nura, tells Army Radio.

She also asserts homes in the area have previously been targeted “because we’re Arabs.”
