Police said to bust marijuana grow lab while raiding home of May Golan aide

Police carrying out raids this morning related to an investigation into fraud suspicions surrounding the Social Equality Ministry also uncovered an illegal marijuana grow operation at the house of Minister May Golan’s chief of staff, Channel 12 news reports.

The network publishes a picture of the alleged drug den in Yavne, showing some three dozen small plants under lights.

According to the network, the plants belong to the aide’s husband. Both the aide and the husband were arrested, Channel 12 reports.

There is no immediate comment from police.
