Qatar warns Israeli strikes on Gaza threaten to upend ceasefire agreement
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleQatar, a key mediator in the Israel-Hamas war, condemns yesterday’s Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, saying they were threatening to upend the fragile weeks-long truce.
Qatar condemns “brutal attacks by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip… and considers them a dangerous escalation that threatens to undermine the ceasefire agreement,” its foreign ministry says in a statement.
Israel said yesterday that it launched the intense wave of airstrikes in response to terror operatives firing on troops in the Khan Younis area.
