Sirens sound near Gaza border after interceptor fired at false target, says IDF

The IDF says that air raid sirens were set off in open areas near the Gaza border due to a false alarm.

An interceptor missile was fired at a false target, and the sirens sounded as per policy, the military adds. There were no sirens in populated areas.
