Tel Aviv hosts May 1 march today

Thousands of youths are marching in Tel Aviv to mark Workers’ Day.

This year in Israel the annual May 1 march was brought forward by a day so it would not occur on a Friday. During the march, from Kikar Hamedina in Tel Aviv to the Histadrut House on Arlozorov Street, several streets in the city will be closed.

In the Histadrut House, HQ of the Histadrut Labor Union, chairman Avi Nissenkorn will make an address.
