Trump claims UN’s approval of his Gaza plan will lead to ‘further peace all over the world’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUS President Donald Trump hails the UN Security Council’s vote in favor of his Gaza peace plan, claiming it will lead to “further Peace all over the World.”
The vote is “acknowledging and endorsing the BOARD OF PEACE, which will be chaired by me,” he writes on social media. “This will go down as one of the biggest approvals in the History of the United Nations (and) will lead to further Peace all over the World.”
Trump thanks the UN Security Council members who voted for the plan, listing each of them as well as other nations who “strongly backed the effort,” while making no direct mention in the post of Gaza, Israel, Hamas or the Palestinians.
