UAE reports new missile and drone attacks; explosions heard in Bahrain, Qatar
The United Arab Emirates reports new missile and drone attacks as Iran continued its retaliatory strikes across the Gulf.
“UAE air defenses are currently responding to incoming missile and drone threats from Iran,” the Emirati defense ministry says. “Sounds heard are the result of the Air Defense Systems intercepting missiles and drones.”
Loud explosions were also heard Bahrain’s capital Manama and Qatar’s capital Doha, AFP journalists report. One of the journalists says they heard at least five blasts in the Bahraini capital city.
