US, Israeli officials said unwilling to accept major changes to Gaza peace plan

Israeli and American officials are unwilling to accept major changes to Washington’s proposal for ending the war in Gaza as Hamas considers its reply to the current framework in Doha, Channel 12 reports.
Senior US officials tell the Hebrew network that while they are open to negotiating limited changes – such as the timetable for and specifics of IDF withdrawal or the precise process of Hamas disarmament – radical changes will not be accepted.
An Israeli source similarly tells Channel 12 that “Israel stands behind the framework. It isn’t open to negotiation except for certain technical matters.”
