JERUSALEM — On Sunday, February 26, Efraim Halevy, former director of the Mossad and former head of Israel’s National Security Council, will be interviewed live on stage by David Horovitz, editor in chief of The Times of Israel. Signed copies of Halevy’s book “Man in the Shadows” will be available for purchase.
Halevy will be the first in a series of distinguished personalities hosted at the Times of Israel Presents series on Sunday evenings in the Hirsch Theater at Bet Shmuel in Jerusalem behind the David Citadel Hotel.
On Sunday, March 19, we’ll be hosting the creators of “Fauda,” the Israeli TV sensation about an undercover Shin Bet unit now streaming on Netflix. Come and see former undercover operative turned actor Lior Raz and Times of Israel journalist Avi Issacharoff, who conceived and wrote the acclaimed show, discussing their plans for the second season, now in production.
On Sunday, March 26 we’ll meet Melanie Phillips, award-winning author and columnist at The Times of London and the Jerusalem Post. Melanie will be talking about her days at the Guardian, anti-Semitism and the British Left, and the future of Israeli-US relations under President Donald Trump. She’ll also be signing copies of “Londonistan” and her other books. If you already have a copy, bring it along and she’ll sign it for you.
Peeking ahead to Sunday, April 2, we’ll be interviewing the legendary author David Grossman about his new book “A Horse Walks Into a Bar,” recently published in English. David will be answering questions and signing copies of his books, which will be available for purchase on the night.
All these live interviews are at the Hirsch Theater, Bet Shmuel, 6 Eliyahu Shema St., behind the David Citadel Hotel. We recommend parking beneath Mamilla Mall.
