One killed, 8 injured in Jerusalem bus accident
Cause of pile-up between two buses, two private vehicles on Bar-Ilan street in capital, not yet known
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleOne person was killed and eight people were injured in a large multiple-vehicle accident in Jerusalem on Thursday evening.
Two buses and two private vehicles were involved in the collision, one of which was crushed by a bus. Emergency responders later discovered the body of a woman in the trapped car, Israel Radio reported.
The accident occurred on Bar-Ilan street in the capital. The circumstances behind the deadly crash are not yet known.
Those injured were evacuated to hospital for treatment and listed in a light condition. Five of the eight casualties were said to be from the same family.
