A Palestinian teen was moderately wounded by IDF fire in Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip on Friday, Hebrew-language media said, citing Palestinian reports.
The IDF spokesperson’s unit had no comment on the Palestinian reports.
The reports said the clashes occurred as Palestinians came close to the border fence.
On Thursday, Israeli troops operating near the Gaza security fence came under fire, in the third attack in four days, the army said.
No soldiers were reported injured, but an army engineering vehicle was hit by gunfire, according to the Israel Defense Forces.
The military responded to the attack by striking two Hamas positions in the northern Gaza Strip.
