Israeli police arrested three minors Tuesday on suspicion of desecrating Muslim graves in Jerusalem.
The phrase “Price Tag,” a settler slogan for retaliatory acts against Arabs, the Israeli government and the army for perceived pro-Palestinian policies, was scrawled on one of the tombstones located outside the Old City’s eastern wall, near the Golden Gate.
Police said the girls used rocks to etch graffiti on the gravestones.
According to the police, they refused to cooperate with the investigation.
The girls will be brought before the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday for an arraignment hearing.
