Following a massive search, two brothers, aged seven and four, who disappeared from their family home in Kfar Silver, near Ashkelon in southern Israel on Friday, were found unharmed several hours later, police said.

“According to the parents, the boys went out of the house in the morning riding their scooter and since there has been no sign of them,” police said early Friday.

After an extensive hunt, in which hundreds of police officers, border guards and volunteers carried out searches on land and from the air, the two were found in a classroom in a local school, police said.

Channel 12 reported that the boys, named Zev and Shaul, were found happily playing computer games in the school computer lab, unaware of the searches going on for them.

The boys were then transferred home to their parents. Police did not identify the children, but published pictures of them.
