Rocket lands in a community near Gaza border, lightly injuring one person on August 6, 2022 (Eshkol Regional Council)

One person is very lightly injured after a rocket lands in an Israeli town in the Eshkol Regional Council area.

According to local authorities, the rocket lands near a cowshed.

The community is not named, apparently due to concerns it could aid terror groups with their targeting.

It marks the first rocket that lands within that local council’s jurisdiction since the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group began launching rockets at Israel last night.
