200,000 Palestinians fled northern Gaza in past 10 days – UN

Fighting between Israeli troops and Palestinian terrorists in northern Gaza caused another 200,000 people to flee south in the past 10 days, the UN humanitarian office says.

Israel has been encouraging residents of Gaza’s north to move to the south, away from the bulk of the fighting.

More than two-thirds of Gaza’s population of 2.3 million have fled their homes since the war began.
