Bennett at vaccination center: We have enough shots for everyone, but there’s an expiration date

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett visits a vaccination center in Holon as part of an ongoing drive to get adolescents inoculated in the face of an outbreak of the highly contagious Delta variant of the coronavirus.

“We are making a push over the next week and a half. Many people got vaccinated in recent days, but it is not enough — we need to reach 30,000 [inoculated] per day,” Bennett says. “There is no lack of vaccines — we have enough for everyone but there is an expiration date on them.”

“The new strain is harming unvaccinated children and adolescents on a scale that hasn’t been seen before,” Bennett says.
