Clashes renew at Temple Mount; police said to beat journalist for Turkish agency

Clashes reportedly renew in Jerusalem’s Temple Mount, as footage emerges of Israeli police beating a detained man who has been identified as a journalist for Turkey’s state-run news agency.

The Haaretz news agency identifies the man as Fayez Abu Rumeila, a journalist for the Anadolu News Agency.

Israel has had a strained relationship with Turkey for over a decade, and Ankara has repeatedly lambasted Israel over the Jerusalem tensions in the past few weeks.
