One thousand transport planes and 150 ships have delivered more than 120,000 tons of armaments and military equipment to Israel since the start of the war, the Defense Ministry says.

Earlier today, the 1,000th plane landed at Ben Gurion Airport and was received by Defense Ministry Director General Amir Baram.

The military equipment delivered to Israel since the beginning of the war, mostly from the United States, has included armored vehicles, munitions, ammunition, personal protection gear, and medical equipment, according to the ministry.

It says the deliveries are a “critical component” in ensuring the IDF can continue operations, as well as to replenish “full stockpiles for emergencies,” and ensuring “rapid and precise responses to the needs of combat units in various theaters.”

The logistical effort has been carried out by the ministry’s Directorate of Production and Procurement, the ministry’s mission to the US, the IDF’s Planning Directorate, and the Israeli Air Force.
