Dozens of injuries tallied from rockets and stones

The Magen David Adom rescue service says it has treated 10 people for injuries stemming from Gazan missile fire, most of them for shock.

One person suffered injuries from glass after a projectile exploded nearby and two people were lightly hurt running to bomb shelters, it says.

It says another 15 people have been treated for light injuries from incidents in which rioters threw stones at them or their vehicles.

Jerusalem police say 32 officers have suffered injuries over the course of the day, including six who needed to be hospitalized.

It says one officer was hit in the head by an object during efforts to tamp down on unrest in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya, where intense protests have been taking place.
