Far-right activists again rally outside home of Arab news anchor, threaten her
Right-wing activists once again rally outside the Tel Aviv home of Arab news anchor Lucy Aharish, shouting at her, “We’re here to give you a message” and “it won’t stop here.”
“May you get cardiac arrest!” one calls out.
Several begin chanting: “Let the IDF win, screw the Arabs!”

This is the fourth time within a week that far-right activists have demonstrated at Aharish’s home. Police have detained several people at past demonstrations.
Earlier this month, speaking on Channel 13, Aharish pointed to the “righteous anger” of Arab Israelis due to perceived government inaction over the crime wave that has claimed the lives of hundreds in the community in recent years.
Arab citizens, she said, in the next elections will “flock to the voting booths” to bring a change in government, and added the Arabic word “Inshallah,” meaning “God willing.”
Aharish is married to Jewish actor Tsahi Halevi, who has served hundreds of days in reserve duty over the past two years, fought in border communities amid the Hamas-led onslaught of October 7, and is widely credited with saving dozens of lives.
