Five Israeli civilians briefly cross into Lebanon, are returned by IDF

Five Israeli civilians briefly crossed into Lebanese territory a short while ago before being returned to Israel by troops operating in the area, the IDF says.
According to the military, the civilians crossed several meters over the border and were detained by soldiers at the scene until Israel Police officers arrived.
The civilians were then transferred to the police for further handling.
The IDF condemns the incident, calling it “a serious incident constituting a criminal offense that endangers both IDF troops and civilians.”
