Flag March organizers say they’re calling off event, but participants march on
The organizers of the Jerusalem Day Flag March say they’re calling off the parade, which is already underway, Army Radio reports.
The move is in protest of the government decision to redirect the march to avoid Damascus Gate.
But it’s not clear whether the participants making their way through the Old City are aware of the decision.
The latter part of the event, a ceremony at the Western Wall, is apparently still on.
