Hamas blames ‘Zionist enemy’ for Gaza conflict
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleWith ceasefire proposals on the table, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh says: “The Zionist enemy imposed this war on us, and planned it.”
He adds that “we will not agree to any calm that doesn’t respond to the demands of the Palestinian people, and doesn’t bring honor to its victims.”
“Today we face an important stage in the conflict with the Israeli occupation. Years of blockades did not prevent the resistance from acquiring all the possible means to protect the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank,” he says.
