Health Ministry says 224 COVID cases identified today
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Health Ministry says 224 new COVID-19 cases have been diagnosed so far today, slightly down from 287 cases identified yesterday.
The ministry says 0.4% of the 68,174 tests conducted today came back positive.
Active cases are up to 1,660, including 22 serious cases.
Vaccinations are up as the government has stepped up a public campaign calling on teenagers aged 12-15 to get the shot — 11,202 received their first dose so far today, and 2,408 got their second.
