Hebron shooting soldier to appeal prison sentence
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleElor Azaria, the IDF soldier convicted for the shooting death of a Palestinian stabber in Hebron last March, is planning to appeal his 18-month prison sentence.
Channel 10 reports that Azaria’s lawyers plan to appeal on Wednesday to the Military Appeals Court, the highest court in the military judicial system, asking that it delay his sentence, which he is set to start serving on Sunday.
