Herzog meets Abbas in Ramallah on security

Herzog meets Abbas “for over an hour, one-on-one, for a deep conversation,” says Herzog after leaving Abbas’s Ramallah office.
The Zionist Union chief says he told Abbas that “we must prevent a third intifada. There is a security deterioration in the field. We must do everything [to bolster security]. I clarified to my host that in defense and the battle against terror there are no compromises.”
