Hevra Kadisha to families: Pay NIS 50,000 for each grave
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleHevra Kadisha, the Israeli burial society, is demanding that each of the families of the victims of terror attack at the Hyper Cacher kosher market in Paris pay NIS 50,000 ($12,600) for their burial in Jerusalem, after the families refused to have the victims buried in multi-story graves, Yedioth Ahronot reported.
Hevra Kadisha will receive the funds from the Jewish community in France. The Hevra Kadisha manager in Jerusalem, Hillel Horowitz, refused an offer by an Israeli-French businesswoman to cover the burial expenses on behalf of the families, the paper reported.
