IDF identifies soldier seriously wounded in Lebanon drone strike as combat photographer

The soldier seriously wounded in yesterday’s drone strike in southern Lebanon is a military combat photographer identified as Staff Sgt. Sh., who was documenting troops’ operations in the area, the IDF says.
According to the military, she is the second combat photographer to be seriously wounded since the start of the war. The first was injured in Gaza by an RPG strike.
The IDF adds that combat photographers undergo advanced combat training, a counterterrorism course, and professional documentation and photography courses.
