Lebanese media reports Israeli artillery shelling in the southern Lebanese town of Mansouri this morning.
Yesterday, the IDF ordered the residents of the village, located inside the military’s south Lebanon buffer zone, to evacuate.
Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency says Israeli artillery shells struck Mansouri this morning and overnight, and fighter jets also struck the town overnight.
Also overnight, Israeli shelling hit the nearby town of Majdal Zoun — also located in the IDF’s buffer zone — according to NNA. Yesterday, two soldiers were killed and four were wounded by a bomb in Majdal Zoun.
NNA also reports an overnight Israeli airstrike in Burj al-Shamali, next to Tyre, resulting in injuries.
The IDF has not yet commented on the purported strikes.
