IDF strike kills 5 Hamas police officers in northern Gaza, hospital says
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAn Israeli airstrike targeting a Hamas police post in northern Gaza killed at least five officers and wounded others, according to a local hospital.
“Five martyrs, all police officers, and a number of wounded — one of whom is in critical condition — arrived following an Israeli airstrike that targeted a police site in the al-Tawam area,” says al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City in a statement.
According to Hamas, two missiles were fired at the police post.
An Israeli military spokesperson tells The Times of Israel that the strike targeted Hamas operatives.
