Iranian official says Saudi Arabia shared intel with Israel in 2006
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIranian parliament speaker Ali Larijani tells Lebanese media that Saudi Arabia shared intelligence with Israel in 2006, during the Second Lebanon War.
Larijani also tells Al-Mayadeen that the Saudis shirked their responsibilities toward the Palestinians during the 22-day war in Gaza — a likely reference to the 2009 Operation Cast Lead — by blaming the Iranians for arming Hamas.
Iran and Saudi Arabia cut ties earlier this year.
