More than 950 projectiles fired from Gaza since military operation began

Palestinian terrorists in Gaza have fired more than 950 rockets and mortars since Israel’s Operation Protective Edge began early Tuesday, according to the latest IDF figures.

Almost 200 of those have been intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system.

In response, the IDF says it has bombed some 1,400 targets in the Gaza Strip over the past seven days.

On Sunday alone, 130 projectiles were launched into Israel from the Palestinian enclave, of which 22 were intercepted and six landed in Palestinian territory, including one which cut off electricity to some 70,000 Gazans.
